The difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day

Hi guys.

 

As we know, the Memorial day is a federal holiday in U.S. for honiring the U.S. Military people who died in U.S. armed forces, so that we have the Memorial holiday on the last Monday of May.

 

But we also mourn and honor Veterans day too. I also had question about it. what's the differene between them?

 

I searched on the google and found the difference!

 

So, the main difference is as follows.

 

Memorial day is remembering the people who gave their lives for freedom.

Veterans day is honoring the people who served in the U.S. armed forces!
